Thanksgiving

Yesterday was the American Thanksgiving holiday, a time when Americans are asked to reflect and give thanks for their blessings.
It is also a holiday slowly disappearing behind capitalist hype for the Christmas shopping season, but that isn't my subject today.
I subscribe to a newletter called The Curiousity Chronicle, and yesterdays email was titled "Tiny Things to Be Enormously Thankful For". In it, Sahil mentions a number of personal things that he is thankful for. I can relate to that, for I have found that thinking about what I am thankful for gives perspective to my life.
Now, at this point I could list a number of things that I am Thankful for, but that is not the subject of this post either.
So what is the subject of this post?
What are YOU Thankful For, my dear friend?
I would like to challenge any reader of this post to take some time to think on their blessings today. Even in the darkest moments of my life - and some have been very dark - I have found things to be thankful for if I look.
So please take a few moments to reflect on your life and look for the blessings. And, if you want, offer your own prayer of thanksgiving for them.
Till next time,
